Dr. Norman Goldwasser is an internationally renowned licensed clinical psychologist in Miami Beach, Florida. He holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, as well as Master’s degrees in Industrial/Organizational and Clinical Psychology, from the Medical College of Virginia. He has spoken throughout the world, including Australia, South Africa, Hong Kong, Italy, Israel, Denmark, and throughout North America on a variety of subjects, including trauma, marital issues, child sexual abuse, addiction, positive psychology, spirituality, and narcissism. He has written two books, Breaking the Mirror: Overcoming Narcissism and the most recently published CQ: the Changeability Quotient: Evaluating and Improving Your Ability to Change. A third book, Mindful Prayer: A Clinical Approach to Enhancing Your Spirituality, is scheduled to be published in the fall of 2025. Dr. Goldwasser has been featured on a variety of news programs discussing a variety of topics involving the treatment of trauma, narcissism, and child sexual abuse.
Since October 7, 2023, Dr. Goldwasser has been in Israel six times to volunteer to treat traumatized soldiers and family members, as well as to train Israeli psychologists to use EMDR, a breakthrough trauma treatment method that utilizes rapid eye movement to desensitize and reprocess traumatic experiences and symptoms of PTSD, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. He also provides training seminars and supervision to a network of over 100 therapists in topics including trauma, personality disorders, anxiety disorders, and depression.
